Expectations Typically Held by Our Parents

  • Parking in the driveway is prohibited, including for brief drop-offs or pick-ups. Please refrain from obstructing the driveway by parking in front of it.

  • Payments must be made by Monday, either prior to or at the time of your child's drop-off. It is crucial to pay child care fees punctually. Although child care provides a supportive atmosphere, it functions as a business. The owner and staff depend on your timely payment of daycare fees, and we respectfully request that you ensure payments are submitted on schedule.

  • The deadline for drop-offs each day is 9:30 am. Please note that there will be no pick-ups or drop-offs during naptime, which also applies to doctor appointments and similar activities.

  • Acknowledge the importance of our work. Caring for children demands a diverse skill set, including early education, entertainment, meal preparation, and first aid.

  • Ensure your child is fully prepared. This includes your child being freshly changed if they are wearing a diaper or pull-up, and dress them appropriately for the day's weather conditions. Stay informed about the activities taking place and make certain your child has everything necessary to participate.

  • Keep your ill child at home. Do not delay in deciding to keep your child at home if there is any reasonable suspicion of illness. We understand that having a sick child can be challenging, but it is important to consider the well-being of others. One day, another parent may find themselves in a similar situation, and you will appreciate their consideration.

  • It is important not to administer medications to your child if they have a fever and then leave them at school; instead, please keep your unwell child at home.

  • Please refrain from bringing toys, stuffed animals, blankets, or any other personal items.

  • Utilize appropriate channels for addressing concerns.

  • We monitor behavior closely and have a clear discipline policy, particularly regarding serious matters one being such as bullying. While we cannot prevent all issues, if one arises, please remain calm, gather the necessary information, and follow our established procedures for resolution. This involves communicating with the owner and staff, rather than engaging with the other child or their parents.

  • In a small environment, your presence is likely to create distractions for both your child and the other children present. This may disrupt their established routines and lead to heightened emotions due to the presence of an unfamiliar adult in their secure environment. While your child is familiar with you, the other three children and their parents are not. Should you decide to visit, it is advisable to take your child home with you afterward. They may struggle to comprehend your comings and goings without them. Frequent occurrences of this nature could significantly contribute to separation anxiety.

  • Effective communication is essential in here! We cannot resolve a problem if we are not aware of its existence.
